ERASMUS+ BIP FOR STUDENTS

Blended Intensive Programmes (“BIPs”) are programmes that use innovative ways of learning and teaching, including online collaboration. BIPs are organised for students or staff.

The programmes involve challenge-based learning, where international and interdisciplinary teams work together to solve different challenges. Blended intensive programmes aim to enable new and more flexible forms of student and staff exchanges, combining physical and virtual mobility.

Physical mobility must last for a minimum of 5 days and can last for a maximum of 30 days. The virtual component may take place before, during or after the physical mobility. Students will receive a minimum of 3 ECTS credits for participating in the BIP.

Students and staff are eligible for financial support from the Erasmus+ programme for their participation in the BIP.

Subject: Call for co-funding of mobility of students and staff to participate in a Blended Intensive Programme (‘BIP’)

A new call for Erasmus+ students to participate in Blended Intensive Programmes has been published. The call is available here: https://www.erasmusplus.um.si/kip/prijava/erasmus-kip-razpisi/.

An important new feature of student mobility on BIPs is that participation is limited to a maximum of 2 BIPs per student over the entire period of study (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle). Any student who has already participated in a BIP twice or more in previous years is no longer eligible for an Erasmus+ BIP grant. They can still attend the BIP at their own expense as a zero grant student if they wish to do so.
