As part of its conference activity, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences organizes domestic and international conferences and symposiums. The traditional conferences, which are organized on an annual basis, are the International Conference on Organizational Science Development (in March), Bled eConference (in June), and the Conference on Education in Information Society (in October), which is held every year as part of the Information Society Multi-Conference and SOR Symposium on Operational Research (in September).
International Conference on Organizational Science Development (Portorož)
The International Scientific Conference on Organizational Science Development is organized in March every year. Various international and domestic speakers or the representatives of the economy, educational and financial institutions, public administration, tourism, army, police, health care, and research institutions present themselves at thematically different plenary parts and organized sections, and also report about the current knowledge and solutions from the fields of Organization and Management.

Bled eConference (Bled)
Bled eConference, which is organized by the University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, is an international event with the longest tradition of Electronic Commerce research in Slovenia. The annual Bled Conference attracts participants from at least twenty countries, the representatives of Faculties, organizations, the European Commission, government institutions, providers of information solutions, and many others.

Information Society – Education in Information Society
As part of the Information Society Multi-Conference, the VIVID Conference (Vzgoja in izobraževanje v informacijski družbi - Education in Information Society) is co-organized every year in October. The Conference is aimed at studying new methods of work and common life in the educational-schooling process, being brought by the modern information and communication technology. The Conference is organized in cooperation with the Jožef Stefan Institute, the Ministry of Education and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia, the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, ARNES, the Slovenian Society Informatika (SSI), the Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes, and the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training.

International Symposium on Operational Research SOR
The three-day International Symposium on Operational Research was organized together with the Section for Operational Research of the Informatika Society in Bled, in September. The Symposium was attended by the representatives from the universities, government institutions, and other organizations. The purpose of the Symposium, organized every second year, is to popularise the operational research for the purpose of solving of complex problems and to promote further research.
